Armed Forces 

We need to conduct ourselves so that all countries wish to be our friend and all that do not share our values can be reminded of their folly. 

 

We need to reinvest in our armed forces with a focus on being the most technologically advanced on the planet. We are Canadians, we place the highest importance on human life and those of our soldiers. By focusing on technology, our Armed Forces can become the most nimble and malleable fighting force on the planet. We will continue to emphasize our peacekeeping tradition, but we will start to walk with a big stick. It is time to honour the sacrifice of soldiers that came before us and the fact that their sacrifices paved the way for our life today. We will no longer let “easy times” create weak people, as we will become more vigilant globally to the injustices that happen on our planet. We will no longer stand idly by waiting for others to take the lead. Any country that chooses to not have a true military or geopolitical presence will not find itself at the table to help shape the direction of our planet, they will just be on the menu. Through the actions of the Sentinel Party, Canada will find itself back at the adult table.
